The practice ski runs prepared for the Arctic Circle Race routes of 5, 10 and 15km, will all be open.

Day to be taken up with upgrading equipment, testing the condition of skis and waxing skis.
 

As there is limited space for waxing skis, this should be completed as early as possible.

Church service
In Greenland, it is traditional to start major events with a public church service. The service will be read in Greenlandic and traditional Greenlandic psalms will be sung.

Gala Party
Arctic Circle Race invites all officials, race competitors and sponsors to join in the celebrations at a gala party, at which local artistes will add a cultural dimension to the event.
