Boat-trip to the Ice cap
You have not really experienced Greenland until you have been to the Inland Ice. It is therefore with great pleasure that we as one of the few tourist offices in Greenland can offer our guests a trip to the edge of the Inland Ice. We go ashore on a rock just next to the Inland Ice and on some days one can actually touch the ice. On this trip we will go by a bird-cliff, a beautiful waterfall and a lot of beautiful icebergs.

The guide will give you the history of the Eskimo immigration into Greenland and the history leading to the beginning of the urbanisation, which started by the closing of villages like Niaqornat, the village we will visit.

The play of colours on the mountains, the sea and the icebergs is an incredible beautiful experience, which can be seen in a very special way from the sea. We depart Narsaq late afternoon/early evening, stop the engine outside the town and enjoy the silence and the sunset. Fishing gear will be available if anyone would like to give his or her luck a chance.
