Visit Uummannaq Museum, the lovely granite church and the humble earthen house "Julias Hus". See the first catch of the day as it lands on the quayside and enjoy the view over the harbour, buzzing with boats of all sizes. The view from the highest point in the town is something special, with a view out towards Storøen and the white peaks of the Nuussuaq peninsula in the background. The Uummannaq Tourist Service can provide a map of the town showing the things to see in Uummannaq.
 
 
Icebergs, seals and whales can be spotted from the hotel's outdoor terrace - and don't miss the opportunity to see the midnight sun from May to July.
